MLBB Esports – The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports scene is on the rise, with the upper bracket semifinal match between defending champion Blacklist International and Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi at the M4 World Championship setting a new viewership record. According to analytics agency Esports Charts, around 4.2 million fans tuned in to the best-of-five series, surpassing the previous peak viewership record of 3.19 million during the ONIC PH vs RRQ Hoshi playoffs match at the M3 World Championship two years ago.
The series was highly anticipated, featuring one of the most popular Indonesian teams facing off against the three-time MPL PH champion. This resulted in 2.6 million of the total viewers being from Indonesia, with the remainder scattered across the world. The match was a nail-biting back-and-forth affair, with the defending champions ultimately securing the win and becoming the first team to reach the upper bracket final. They will now face the winner of the game between MPL PH team ECHO and MPL ID Season 10 champion ONIC Esports.
